I've searched high and low looking for an answer to this... long story short, my x had the car (G37) this past weekend (yes... first mistake) while I was out of town, and spilled the babys milk all over the front seat... its all stuck in the perforated leather... solutions? ideas?

Steam cleaning?

Has anybody tried to take off the seat covers... as in what covers the frame?

I was going to call a few of the local places in the morning... see what they said... but thought I could do it myself in a few hrs?

Thanks as always...

I would think a wetting agent (water or a wet leather cleaner) and a shop wet/dry shop vac should do the trick.

I feel your pain! I recently spilled an entire Starbucks grande mocha in the front seat of my new G37. I've been searching online for remedies, but no luck yet. Taking it to a detailer to see if they can perform any miracles. I'm worried about the milk spoiling and stinking up the car. So far so good, but the seat smells like a mocha!

The leather portion of the seat comes off relatively easy. In my 05, there are two zippers on the back. The center flap needs to be pulled down, then out to release it from the little track on the bottom. Then the rest looks pretty easy.

Once it's off, I would think that a damn cloth and a bowl of water would get most of the mocha and/or baby milk out of the foam.

take it to a reputable detail shop, and I mean reputable, not a regular car wash, i mean a specialist, they usually have a very expensive machine that will take almost anything out of the fabric in your car

You're right! There are zippers in the back. I'll check it out, but still may need to take it to a detailer to get the stains out of the carpet.

Thanks for the tip!

Agree-I've found a guy that's supposed to be among the best around and is affiliated with a high-end dealership. Says he can take care of it, so we shall see.
