B16 Sentra Painted Brake Calipers

Has anybody else painted their brake calipers?

I just painted mine a couple of days ago and I have to say I'm really pleased with the outcome.

Here are a couple of pix of my calipers painted red.

Pretty good looking! I was thinking about doing that for my SE-R...maybe a little darker red than what you have...

Well its a little scary to know you painted the caliper and brake pads with it still connected to the rotor. Bad idea. Have fun when your pads start getting bad, and you have to peel them away, and you will have to replace the hardware clips.

As a comparison, my brakes, though the same color, were done 3 months ago. Caliper was removed from the rotor, and the bracket and caliper were smoothed of all the casting marks and casting imprefections, Sanded smooth, then painted.
