Depending on your skill set and tools available, you might like different types of instruction. There is the FSM (Factory Service Manual) and that is the Bible for your car. It's technical in format. How to install brakes articles abound on the internet and are pretty good, though they aren't always car specific. We have a few for a handful of vehicles under the archives. How to install brakes videos can be helpful if you're the visual type. There will be links to additional brake installation videos on the same webpage. Here's one I found on Youtube that seems applicable:

If you're a complete novice, I recommend replacing one pair of brakes at a time. Like, do the rear ones first. Then test drive and "bed" the brakes. If they don't work, at least you'll have the front ones to stop you. Then do the front ones and bed those. If you change all four and have made a mistake, you could be brake-less during your test drive. It's just a thought.
