Hello iam just trying to get as much as information and knowledge before i get the ball rolling... so i have a few questions. i know i need a few things from the 2000 SE sentra that came with the sr20de. like the mounting brackets.... my question is.... i know they are different but do the sr20 mounting brackets go in the same place the 1.8 ones were in the chassis? or do i have to make holes in the chassis to accomodate the sr20 ones.... also.... all of the transmissions from the 2000-2001 SE's have LSD? thanks

You need the front/rear motor mount crossmember. No cutting required.

Only Performance Package SE's had LSD.

Soo iam replacing my motor mounts with the SE's right? and crossmember.. i dont think i understood your answer sorry..... i just want to know if replacing the motormounts from QG to SR is just replacing them in their original place.

The horizontal mounts (near the fenders inside the engine bay) are the same. The front and rear mounts are on a beam that bolts to the chassis. These mounts are different. In order to get the mounts you need, you also need the crossmember (beam) that they are on. So you need the front/rear motor mount crossmember off an 00-01 SE.

ohhhhh got it thanks alot man... sorry about that. ok one last question... how do you differentiate the SE pp from the normal ones? just in case i go to a junkyard looking for one.

The PP has 6spoke 16"in alloys, a front strut tower bar (just painted black, so if you see aftermarket, it's not necessarily a PP), and a spoiler. The spoiler is a common option outside of the PP package, but the wheels and especially the FSTB are a giveaway.

I'm sure the transmission looks different, but I don't know off hand what the visible difference would be.

The junkyard should have the car's info, so I'd think you could ask them and they'd have everything based on the VIN.

soo i would need-PP transmission from the SE model-Crossmember form the SE model-Engine-harness-all of the turbo needed stuff(intercooler, fuel pump, exhaust)

what am i missing?
