b14 sentra blowing headlights, any ideas?

hey guys i have a b14 sentra, both my low beam headlights are now blown out. first the passenger side blew, then about 1 week later the driver side also blew. this is abnormal as these headlights only lasted a span of 5 months. These are also my second pair of headlights in 8 months, with the first set the exact same thing happened. first the passenger low beam will blow, then the driver side will blow about a week later. the daytime running lights and high beams still work but the low beams are blown. I'm thinking its something in the wiring, any suggestions? anything is greatly appreciated.
