So I went to the local salvage yard, and found a 200sx, it was a nice forest green that had a nice sparkle to it. and I really liked the rear bumper on it. I'm not a big fan of the '95 rear cuz it has cutouts for dual exhaust (gay)- which is what I had originally. So I decided to get this '98 bumper. At least I'm pretty sure it was a '98. w/e. It had the normal wear and tear that a junk yard bumper's gonna have but it was good enough. I got my estimate on it and went to work getting it off. I also picked up a trunk cable cuz I needed one. anyways, with a little bondo and sanding it turned out pretty nice. I had the color scheme picked out the second I saw it, haha. you'll see in the pics. I actually wet sanded it outside in the rain - convenient! then the next day, in my pool, when there was no rain. here's some pics for you guys to see. Cuz I'm in the mood to show off a little. and I know you're the ones who will appreciate it.

sorry, I didn't bother to get any pics of it when I started

comments are welcome

I got the paint through http://www.carpaintonline.com and they mixed it to match the factory color. The paint ran about $25 for a 12 oz. aerosol can and I used about can and a half to complete the bumper. it's no generic spray paint.

I used a plain Wal-Mart primer and a basic outdoor clearcoat from Lowes. it works fine for me.

Oh, one more thing, the gunmetal color is just a basic Dupli-color spray can from Discount. I got it to match the wheels which I painted with the same color wheel paint.
