B13 Sentra Manual Rack to Power Steering conversion

Hello All:

After spending most of my life in the RWD world, mostly around 240sx, I finally got a B13 sentra.

This car came with a manual rack, but since it has an avenir SR20DET swap and it came with a power steering pump, I've been contemplating just going for the full power steering set up.

I have a salvage yard here locally that will sell me the rack and pinion plus a lines and reservoir for 250...any advice? Is it really this simple? drop the old rack put in the new one with reservoir and all lines? Any help or resources will be appreciated.

You're the only person I've seen who wants to go from manual to power steering on a B13. Most people go the other way around.

I'd say leave it manual. The B13 power steering system has a couple of design flaws which cause it to overheat the fluid, and it's just added weight and maintenance.
