b/s/t could use improvements

hey if you guys are like me and dont want to buy things 3000 miles away i was wondering if there could be a requirement of loactions in title or regional sections so i dont have to go through 100's of posts and find nothing near me.. thanks just a suggestion.

idea:don't know if the vBulletin code will support this, but perhaps a form to fill out that will output a formatted message for that forum? Similar to how the poll option give a separate text field for the poll options. You could have things like asking price, model, make, year, location, etc as the fields for this form to help out those with less common sense.

If not, at least a sticky (dunno if there is one that mentions location, I haven't read the stickies in a while) suggesting it.

I agree with Reno... A form would certanly make things easier for buyers- even if its just 2 or 3 required feilds like location, price, and email.

as far as the stickey... eh, I dont think most people read stickies.

well in regards to that... i asked for that way b4 the current changes to the B/S/T were made...but i guess they decided we didnt need it...but man would it be nice... we're still trying to get the section fine tuned, so give it some time...

I think seeing the "WTB" ads next to the "F/S" ads is great. for example, my friend was looking for some spings in the forum, and he stumbled upon some1 wanting a wing he had. if that "WTB" ad was in a seperate forum, he never would have seen it. he did't even know people wanted his wing. lol, still didn't find ne springs he wanted.

Perhaps the form could automatically amend FS or WTB depending on a checkbox? That'd make sure it was specified, and eliminate human error and many people having to check posts with vague titles. Just a thought.
