hi guys i just bought another 200sx with the ca18det in still stock stock and i was wondring where is the b.o.v.??? i cant seem to find it anywhere.

lmao oh **** wheres the BOV?!?!haha dont worry dude if its a stock factory CA then listen to awd ^^^. no BOV on the ca. compressor surge sounds way better anyway lol

but then with its stock there is no way of the surge damaging the turbo right? casue that what im worried with!!im sorry if i sound noobish but i dont really mess with CA's the one from my other car had a blown turbo already.i am planning of cranking the boost a little like 3 psi but i will definitly install a FMIC and a b.ov. then

get a BOV. I suspect the lack of one from the factory is one of the contributing factors for most CA stock turbos being fubared.

if u are running a non ball bearing turbo go with one. im running a skyline and hks BOV for no reason lmfao. i wasnt trying to sound like i was bashing on u for sounding like a noob. ppl who ask questions the most have the most knowledge unless ur a born genious. and as we all know....KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!! *high five*....i woke up too early today

Stock boost, stock exhaust, the surge isn't awful, but surge is never a good thing and will cut down on the life of the turbo.

dont even bother turning up the boost on the factory ca18det turbo. you put a hell of a lot more stress on it and you get hardly anymore power out of it. its just a little guy. be easy on him.
