Oh, and whats the difference between these and the cheaper OGX ones or the more expensive C's one?

The OBX are cheaply made. Do a search and you will see what all is wrong with them. As I can't remember.

I'm assuming this is the newest versin of the B&M shifter? The one without the horrible noise problem (or less noise, at least?

$195 sounds like a good price to me, but I'm not sure if I'll be in a position to buy this month. Hmmm...

Oh and just wondering, is there anything else to buy with the short shifter to help the overall shifting experience?

other things u could get to help the over shifting experience is a NISMO steel clutch line and a NISMO transmission mount if yours are old and worn:)

and remember, $195 is a great deal...but there might be better deals out there somewhere, but your also supporting NICO if you buy from an advertiser, and $195 SHIPPED is an EXCELLENT deal!

BUY THE TANABE SOLID SHIFTER KIT WITH A SHORT SHIFTER AND YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO DRIVE WITH A SLOPPY SHIFTER AGAIN.

he's a moron cuz last time i checked i dont have an sr20 or any of its components in my drive line and i have the b&m... guys this is the best shifter out there...all b&m does is make shifters and transmision assories(sp)....you will never find better quality or tighter tolerances...period...mine still has noise over 5krpm but thats a trade for me since i dont have to worryabout missing the next gear with a sloppy floppy stocky...if i didnt already have one id be jumping on this sheeit..i paid 270 for mine..

They're supposed to have fixed it, but they didn't totally eliminate it. It still buzzes at times.

I wish you had this about a month ago when I bought mine. I paid $205 plus shipping.

Its not that bad of a rattle. My passengers don't even notice it, but I do because I know it's there. More annoying than anything else.

my friend has one on his 99 eclipse and it rattles, but not badly at all. Honestly, if i wasnt listening for it, you wouldnt notice, turn on the radio, or roll down the windows, and you wont hear it. All in all, for a 2o min install, its money well spent.

So you guys think its worth it despite the buzz? and it'll also bolt on to the sr transmission yes?
