i'm in. the price on your site scared me but i did put nico member group deal in the comments field. is it odd to buy a shifter before the car (tomorrow!) or a working motor?

I understand that this is a good deal and all but you shoudl be more responsible with your words. That's the basis of good business ethic. If you can not ship it you should have given those who made payment a head up so we know there would be a delay in our orders.

I called SAW and apparently Alex, NissanLunatic, is no longer with the company but they assured me that SAW will still honor the deal. I gave them the link to this thread and they will respond to it.

This is the deal, neither us nor B&M was exprecting this many people to be on the group buy list. B&M informed us that they are waiting on one more batch of shifters and the WHOLE group buy will be shipping out. I am sorry for the inconvience but this was out of our hands. And how do we know that our credit card numbers that we are giving out online aren't being stolen somehow? Are our numbers secure or did that guy have access to them?Josh

I called SWA today and they said the shifters are on a 2 1/2 week back order.

Alex DID NOT leave on bad terms. He is just a silent partner in the business now. He still comes in for board meetings and other things here and there. You guys are perfectly safe.

Maybe post a list of who you know ordered them and sent you the money. Only if that is not a breech of privacy

This is all refering to Jordan@SWA I mean your website looks all good and stuff but I just want to make sure everything is still good for everyone who ordered including myself.

Its kind of wierd that the person who set up the buy is now gone and we are dealing with a different person

These things haven't even shipped yet? I'm sorry, but I'm not too impressed by a company that charges my credit card on 4-23, and hasn't even shipped the part by 5-9. If it's backordered, fine, I understand. However, I should have been notified, and no, posting the situation on a forum does not count as notification.One of the many times I ordered parts from Heavy Throttle, a silicon hose coupling was backordered. They called me the SAME DAY I placed the order, and gave me the option of cancelling the order, or waiting for the part.

I'm sorry. I'm not really trying to down SWA, but this type of business practice, though I'm sure it isn't intentional or maliceful, makes the company look lackadaisical about customer service. That's my pet peeve when ordering parts, and will determine whether I do business with a company in the future. Just my $.02 .
