This might be a total newb question, but does the B&M short shifter work on the CA transmission?

yep, it'll fit any S13 trans. and i believe the S14 trans as well.

Good because I love that damn thing! My friend has it in his SR and it's sooooooo nice.

I've got one on my CA and it rules. IMO it's the best shifter you can buy.
