i was looking at some older post on the b&m short shifter making noise.this noise is coming from the springs and flat plate steel inside of the tower.if you remove the 4 allen heads.you will find 2 springs.one on each side, and under the springs the steel plates.i replace the steel with aluminum and smaller springs.this cut down on the noise and gave it a lighter feel. got the parts at lowes superstore in the nuts and bolts dept. you no all the big boxes with all the od parts. if you need more info let me know. hay i got bord on sunday.:ylsuper

I've been debating on whether or not go C or B&M shifter.. Once I drove a friend's Honda Prelude with a Forbidden SS, I fell in love with the feeling. Can't go back to long throws...

That's one thing I really like about Honda's is their trannys. You can put it into first gear when going like 15mph without any resistance. They make a good shifter. I also want a BM SS, so when I get one I'll give that a try if it really bugs me.

I have tried both shifters and like them both.

The C's does not have as short of a throw so you don't mess up the gates like you would if you are not paying attention with the B&M.

I have the B&M and love it. I changed the shift nob to a stick type and love it more. I really didn't like the ball type it came with.
