b 16 ser screen replacement

Hey!
I just installed a double din dvd into dash. This replaces the stock radio. But i still have the stock orange screen and it is useless now. I bought the sentra dash pocket for replacement but it didn't fit because of the gauge pods.....
so here i'm asking, what have you done with your screen? i was thinking about puting black vinyl on it but ill wait to see if there are other options!!!

If you take out the computer screen, you will see that the orange piece is just a piece of plastic painted in orange, you can try just spray painting it a flat black. If you want to keep the orange piece in case you want to revert back to the original equipment, just get a piece of plexiglass or similar material and cut it the same dimensions and paint that one and replace it.
