Azusa Canyon

Hey all the socal heads, I had an idea that I searched and seemed that no one goes here to just cruise. It's very peaceful and relaxing driving through the canyons and was wondering if anyone would be intrested in gathering some other people to come drive. If any of you have been there before, can you post your experience and hopefully get some others to want to tag along. Just a thought

I been up there, awsome road up to the top. I hurd people talk about another road up there...called GMR? havent hit it...But im down to mob it up n spread the wurd.who/what/whne/where/why?

I havn't been to Azusa Canyon but i've been to Santa Anita canyon it was pretty fun i went with my friends, but then theres this one stop sign in the middle of no where gotta watch out for that. My friend said that GMR is okay. No clue on GMR but im going to Santa Anita canyon on thursday.Heres some pictures.I thought it would look cool.The drive up was really fun, well it was the first time for the three of us it went pretty well. Yeah we're pretty young :] To get there just go North of Santa anita all the way i believe then you'll hit the canyon.Its about 3 miles up, so about 10 minutes or more, my friends are too competitive so i took it slow.

funny thing is i'm so down for this as soon as i get back from illinois. i ****ing hate it here and apparently i head home on tues instead of mon. mah ****ed up the flights.

anywho... i miss my car very much and i need a small run w it. no silly business. just driving.

the place i usually go to by my house isn't big enough to accomodate my feelings of missing my baby

It's open. I would suggest drive the speed limit since there are a lot of families up there and a lot of cars coming and going. I saw some idiot in a civic have to slam on his brakes when he saw some cops.

yes they are fun. i have been going up there for years! i havent been up there in a while, but hate to bust your bubble.... mad cops go over there. i even heard that they even kick it at the bottom with the tow trucks! good luck!

Hah were not punks we just like cars alot, well maybe the guy with the rsx is but hey it was fun! 3 people for a cruise is really nice espically with the view just gotta be careful because sometimes theres dirt/rocks on the road so take it slow, i saw my friend start to slide on that part but luckly he was able to control it. If you any of you guys hit up Santa anita just hit me up, im down

I heard GMR is a okay ride, but im not sure my friends usually run like fridays and saturdays. Yeah alot of crashes happening think that they can take it fast next thing you know it your in the hospital . I hear some whack out stuff about turnbull. yeah a couple of years ago some KKK got a hold of a little girl and tied her to a truck and dragged her through the canyons

I still go by myself all the time though and I'm only 16

haha do you go at night time though.. i also heard that a guy was hanged from a tree or something infront of his girlfriend. Whack! but yeah! Canyons are fun. too bad my car cant run anymore i got some temperature problems..
