I saw your write up on fixing the lash adjusters on ka24e and have a few questions, about removal and replacement. If you could shoot me an email I would very much appreciate it. I want to talk to someone who has done it. I want to know if I am fit to do this myself. Email is [email protected]. I need to know about the clip for removing the piston and how to prime it with oil. I think I can do this but need to be sure before breaking it all down and mess it up, Thanks in advance.

I paged Greg in the mod forum for you. Waiting for his reply. I wish I could answer your question but I haven't done this job to my truck yet. Have you scanned the KA forum on NICO? There's tons of info in there, so much one could get lost for hours.

Thanks I pulled the rockers and they appeared to be okay, I am still not sure how the hell you remove the little plungers but used carb cleaner and blew out all orifices, some black carbon came out but all seem to be clear. I reinstalled and it appears it is the timing chain that is rattling, that was just replaced. Does it at 1000-1200 rpm only and is the chain, I think the hydraulic piston that tightens chain guide is not 100%. OKAY
