I hate dealerships man. Like a week ago someone i know had there civic checked at a dealership because the rear shock was making noises. When she got it back she drove a ways then the whole strut and shock fell out onto the road. Needless to say they forgot to tighten something.

Bastards.

I always go to the same mechanic when i need something done the guy is really nice and he hooks me up all the time. Once i just showed up, didn't call before hand or anything, he stopped working on the car he was fixing, he took out my injectors and put new o-rings in them and cleaned them and didn't charge me a penny.

But Glad to hear you got your problems sorted out, and you might want to replace the belts, because its worse if you get stranded because your alternator belt broke somewhere then you have to pay towing, and belts are cheap.

Good luck with getting free stuff

Sorry 909524sxduck. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I was actually interested in what you were saying, but couldn't understand from your poor grammer. It's only after you bragged about knowing 3 languages that you turned me off.

Fueler: My ancestors came from France. And I've been to Russia. So yes I'm definitely interested in learning their languages. But I never said I didn't "just because I didn't want to." And I may be wrong, but judging by your inability to read english text properly, you're not the one to judge who is or isn't an ignorant dumbass.

AZHitman: Sorry, I'm not big on braggarts. "I HAVE OWN 240SXs BEFORE MANY OF YOUR KNOW WHAT A 240SX AND DRIFTING IS!" being a prime example.

Eh, placed in the proper context, it's right up there with "PRAY TO GOD OF BOMEX I WISH YOU SPEED OVER THE RIVAL"... Just good Engrish.

My ancestors came from Pangea. I want to learn the language. Also - you might want to start learning languages, since it's so easy. Studies show that multilinguals have a much higher cognitive proficiency than monolinguals.

And good job on going to Russia. Just Ты мне Ваньку не валяй

trust me no feeling are hurt, (This is a Internet forum) and I was not bragging (yes I can't spell) that I know 3 different languages (I was just saying English is not my first language please back off), To me this is not a English class so why would I have to worry about my grammer! If you worry about grammer on a car forum, I think you are on the wrong site. maybe you should find some other forum like a English grammer forum or something! And I have never had a problem if someone reply saying they can't understand what I type, I have always been happy to retype what I said, so they can understand what I said! just ask! Also when you can speak and write 3 different languages then I think that is when you can speak up! Until then please keep it to yourself! And Yes I can Read English, I just suck at grammer! LOL and please don't tell me BS saying I been here and there, but I just don't want to learn the languages, because I can say that too all day. But I don't have to because I can proof I am bilingual (which you are not)!

when I said I have own 240SXs (Since 2000) and Know Drifting before many people (I NEVER SAID EVERYONE), is a joke, its a teaser to the newbies, AGAIN I AM NOT BRAGGING, ITS A JOKE! I KNOW GRAMMER IS WRONG BUT I DON'T CARE ITS A JOKE AND THIS IS A CAR FOURM!!

anyway this will go on forever if we keep going. so I will just end it here!

Damn Greg you missing with me too now bud! LOL

Glad it turned out good. Any small dealerships/shops will try to charge you an arm and a leg for stuff that is not even broken/damaged!! Trust me, i have dealt with them for the last ~7 years. Thanks to me Dad, who's been a engine ace for the last 20+ years.

Use Mobil 1 synthetic engine oil and you're good to go for 7k miles. I've used it for the last 5 years and it works like a wonder. That as*hat dealership should be reported and shut down.

As for languages, I speak 4. And learning bits by bits a 5th one. And english is not my first one, lol.

Learning anything can increase your cognitive proficiency. But feel free to limit yourself to languages so you can talk to everyone about nothing...smart ***.

Well, it's officially Wednesday and I have not received any phone calls or any type of contact from the "regional specialist" from Nissan.I am going to call again tomorrow and raise just a little bit of hell. I am really getting tired of this crap and I'll be damned if I let them take me for an idiot. As much as I love my cars, this last Maxima has been nothing but trouble. If the Nissan representatives continue to be so unprofessional and unreliable, I am going to have no other option than to get my lawyer involved. I can guarantee that if I were an older male, maybe with a title "i.e. Lawyer, Doctor, etc...) the clowns would have moved a lot quicker to solve this situation.

Yah, actually I'm having a bad day at work right now.

I apologized to Duck in case I had hurt his feelings. He said I hadn't hurt his feelings.

That being said, don't act like I'm the only person to complain about somebody else's grammar on this forum.

I have never met someone I didn't like, and I'm willing to get along with everyone on this forum. I saw a post I was interested in but couldn't understand, and I went about getting it translated the wrong way. AZHitman pointed that out in a professional manner.

Fueler decided to call names...I guess I shouldn't have dropped to his level.

But everybody's entitled to his/her opinion, such as duck thinking i should be apart of an english forum instead of nico .

Sorry folks, I work in manufacturing. If you don't have clear communication, your operation WILL fail.

And the same goes for people discussing wiring diagrams, wheel offsets, custom suspension settings, etc. If people don't understand the information your giving, they will have no way to implement that info to help themselves. Which, to me, is the whole purpose of this forum.

/End thread jack

Congrats again seyath

Slow Down/Slow Zone Accident Pron Zone is coming up! LOL

To all the people that hated my joke (which I had for over 8 month without anyone saying anything about it), just to make everyone happy I have took it off! Once again, I said many people, I did not say all people, I know there is many people that have own 240SX before me. I wish I would of brought a 240SX in 97 then me walking into Honda, but being 16 back then Insurance was almost 2 1/2 times the cost of a Accord (They both cost the same on MSRP), being 16 and paying everything my self (Car Payment, Insurance, Gas...). The Accord was a choice that did not make me happy, but a smart one if I did not want a used car! (Long Story why I had to chose a Accord)

ONCE AGAIN IT WAS A JOKE, I AM SORRY IF ANYONE FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT IT!

Having read this whole thing from the start I have to say you got screwed in a big way and it's a good thing you asked and took the advice from the board. I have a couple words of advice for you or anyone who absolutely has to deal with a dealership for maintenance or warranty issues. Nothing gets a dealerships panties in a bunch faster than saying lemon law, especially if you are on your second opinion, 9 times out of ten they will not only bend over backwards but give you the reach around to go with it. If you file a lemon law complaint (which is having to have the same car have the same issue repaired 3 or more times) the dealership not only eats the expense to repair or replace whatever is wrong but you are looking at a nice fat check or a free car in the end . My GF's brother-in-law got a nice $5K check and his car paid off for a stupid electrical gremlin that kept reappearing on his 04 Sebring. Then again he's a swindler and can get God himself to buy anything he happens to be selling.

As far as dealership service departments go and the old they take advantage of women thing, here's a story to ponder. My mom is not a women to be effed with, she has made every service manager hide behind his desk on every car she has owned. They used to request to speak wiht my step father when I was growing up because if she got down there and saw any unneeded service or charges or anything not stated and agreed to she would go directly to the owner of the dealership and get their face about, no yelling at techs, clerks, managers, my mom has always gone straight to the top of the food chain and anally rapped them without KY. While I'm not that bad I will get my point across albeit in a more diplomatic way.

I stay away from dealerships unless they are the only place to get certain parts ie PS lines for a rack and pinion, sorry it's late, I'm rambling and I apologize for my grammar the GF spilled juice on the keyboard so some of the keys gets stuck or don't work right.
