Just wondering if any of you guys have driven these on the same car. I've heard both good and bad about both these tires, and the Azenis seem to be the cheaper way to go, but I'd liek to hear some of your oppinions on them

id say go with the Azenis on ur 24o, they have a large contact patch (i looked it up after talking about it today) and the are a lil bit cheaper, but also, i wouldnt bother putting the tires on ur stock wheels, get some new 17s too, whever the money comes in of course

I was already leaning towards the Azenis because of the contact patch and well if the Pirrelis are that annoying and they cost more the Azenis seem the way to go thanks

from what i hear Azenzi's are great. esp. for autocross, at one point the SCCA was going to ban them since they were so damn good (a rumor maybe):D

rumor. I'd go with the p7000 for a few reasons:-better wet traction-longer life-ability for minor snow/mud-lower noise

plus, Im a pirelli fan. if you dont mind the treadwear, the azenis is a damned good dry tire for the money though.-chet

I was gonna buy the Avs Es100s but my brother has them and has had wear issues w/ the tires becoming bald at around 7-8k miles. So i'm thinking about going w/ the p7000? Anyone have them? Opinions?

depends on wat ure using em for and if ure using em for daily driving, then u have to take weather into account, since we have a lot of rain and get snow and all that nice crap, im goin with the p7000s myself.

azenis are by far the most incredible tire you can run

and yes, scca solo 2 was thinking about making them an R compound class because they work so damn well.

the only problem with azenis is that they will get greasy when pushed hard for 3-4 laps consecutively, which is why they won't be that great for road racing, etc. But for spirited street driving, or autocrossing, that is THE summer tire to use.

I'm running these on my S14. I don't have that much power. Stock, save for a catback exhaust. They stick much better than the kumhos that I had on there. I have been able to break it loose though. It's a cheap, well balanced tire and I have no complaints so far. I've also driven them in the rain, and they aren't that bad. The tire is very, very quiet. If you break loose, you probably won't hear it, also its very balanced, so you probably won't feel it when you're drifting either.
