We are proud to present the annual night drift at Firebird! This has been a yearly tradition for a few years now and its always a blast. A night of drifting at the FIR skidpad which is easily the most gentle place on tires in Arizona that we have found.

What: All night drifting with TrialByFire.org and NASA!

When: May 24, 2008 4pm

Where: Firebird International Raceway

Why: Is that even a serious question?

Who: ANYONE! NO HPDE 1 REQUIRED, let me repeat that.... NO HPDE 1 REQUIRED

Cost: $75

Get ready for another night full of non-stop action. Anyone is welcome to come try their hand at drifting. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or an advanced driver you are sure to have fun and destroy a few tires.

Dont forget that Super Street, Grassroots Motorsports, NICOFest, and Modified Magazine will all be there covering the event. This is one of NASA's biggest events of the year and it is ALWAYS insanely crowded. We will have tandem for advanced drivers and there might be a couple surprises

Are spectators welcome or is this mostly for the drivers? Btw, I checked FIR's website and they didn't even list it on there schedule?

Anyways even though I can't drive yet it looks like fun, and if I can make it, you'll see me there!

Wow, sounds like an awesome meet. Little too far for me though lol. I did love Firebird when I was there for one of our races. I think if I ever move out of state I'd have to go to Chandler. Its all nice and new and pretty. Best of all CHEAP houses!

Will there be a formal, or informal, car show or just the driving. Not sure I want to burn up any of my tires but it would be fun to hang out and check out rides if there will be anything there to look at.
