For those of you guys that are up for brake pad jobs and are thinking of getting Metal Masters, you might want to check out your local Kragens store for them. One of my buddies that works there told me they carry a lifetime warranty (yes also against wear). So when they wear out, go back buy a new set, do your brake pad job, bring back the worn out ones and get your refund. I think Kragens also goes by other names like Checkers and Schuckers (sp?) so you guys might want to check that out.

I have metal masters, no complaints, but I'm going to try some different pads next time, just to see how other pads feel.

yeah they'll replace em for free. You just gotta go through the hassle of buying new pads the second time around, doing your pad job, then going back and getting your money back for the second (or whatever set you're on) set.

I got the PBR Metal Masters (before PBR was bought out by Axxis) from HT and they seem to lack that initial bite I was hoping they'd have. For higher speeds, they're better than oem, but I think for in city driving oem is probably sufficient unless they cost you more than 80 a set which is what I was told a full set of F/R would cost. Just giving you guys a heads up from what my buddy told me who works at Kragens.

Yeah, if there's a discrepancy about the policy, get them from the Kragens on Ocean st. or on Taraval in San Francisco. They'll give you the freebies for sure since I see you're in Berkeley (I'm assuming east bay) Hadokenny.
