I have heard of people breaking the driveshaft shop axles also.

Also I wouldnt give 1400$ for a set of axles from them either

I personally am setting up to do a 8.8 ford rear end swap. There is no Nissan differential or axle that will hold up to Hard launches with slicks on a Good preped track.

With my new 2step system I will be leaving the line @20psi of boost SO I need something thats going to hold up.

Plus there cheap to build and install.

im not doing a 4link setup.

I plan on Making brackets to accept my Stock Strut/spring setup and Brackets to keep my current calipers and Rotors. Other than that its a simple setup.

a mini spool for the 8.8 is like 120$ and gears are a dime a dozen. I really think my car wants a higher gear than the stock 4.08 I believe It would pull harder down low if I get like a 3.55

I personally have not had a Problem with a Stock Welded differential. Its just the axles will not hold up. But also by the time you change all the bushings ETC. Its gets $$$$

i just want to cut sub 2.0 60's at this point. i know that it is probably my driving style but i just cant slip this clutch. i am going with a q45 setup for now as igot everything for around 125 from a pick n pull. i hope with the 4.64 gears it will go into the 11's. then i can start messing with the spray

Not sure what motor setup you have or what clutch setup you have. But I have went 1.6 60's on the stock r200 rear end and stock axles and Mt et streets. I also have a 1500$ cusco exedy stg 4 clutch. It is the stiffest clutch I have ever worked with.also you gotta figure out where your motor likes to launch best at. With my rb25 it likes to leave the line at 5500rpm. On my new motor and rear end setup. I wanna see 1.3-1.4 60's

The q45 diff setup is a strong one for anyone who is looking for something strong and cheap. The lower ratio is a plus also....

im not making more than 320 unless i spray it so i dont need the ratio. i have 4.64's which i love, now its just a matter of finding a drivers side z axle hahah i dont think they exist
