axles???? please help out

hey guys i put my car up on a hoist the other day and i was just checking over everything and i saw that the axles move in each direction like an inch???

like wiggles around @ the joint? that's normal, the axles are 2 pieces each so they have some wiggle room.

like actually moves the entire wheel/hub/knuckle out an inch or so & back? that's bad - I'd check the hub nut.
