axle issue

Okay i was lucky enough to find 300zx everything for the brake swap/ 5 lug conversion. well i got to the bake changed what i needed too but now the 240 axel wont work, and the 300`s wont go to the rear diff.... i could get the 300`s machined to fit but i was hopin someone here has done this and could give me a few options. FYI i want 5 bolt to sport the 300zx rims

easiest solution is to get either the output shafts from a VLSD out of a 240sx or to get a set of J30 axles.

Sounds like you are trying to use twin turbo hubs.

You need n/a hubs, and the rear knuckles from the twin turbo will not work unless you get a rear toe bushing pressed in, as the twin turbos have HICAS.

Ya they are off of a TT, would the j30 axels still work i found some at a junkyard i need to know i wanna grab them asap if they work

What exactly was your problem with fitting the 240sx axles? Was it that the 240sx splines were too small for the TT hubs? ...if so, I don't think j30 axles will solve your problem.

Your best bet would be modifying the 300zx axles to fit. You're using the stock differential, right? Not the 300zx one..

You can use your stock diff, stock axles, NA 300zx HUBS/BEARINGS (pressed together).

TT axles and hub/bearing have larger inner diameter

J30 / 240sx / NA 300zx / 180sx have the same spline diameter
