I've read quite a bit on this and I think this is correct, I just wanna make sure about it all before I go buying stuff.

I have a non-abs S13 with an open diff, I want to swap in a non-turbo 300zx vlsd as opposed to an Infinity J30 diff so my gear ratio will remain the same. However the output shafts on the z32 diff are 5 bolt instead of 3x2 as my axles are, so I need either the z32 axles or 95-96 J30 axles to fit.

My questions are, is the driveshaft bolt pattern the same on my open diff as the z32 diff? (so I wont have to get a new driveshaft). Also I read that the z32 axles are a tad too long for the s13, but will work in a pinch. Preferred are the J30 axles from a 95 or 96. Is that assumption right? One more question... do I have to use the axles from a 95 or 96 J30 or will any years work? If so which ones?

Thanks for your help!

They definately won't fit on an S13. I have pictures from an attempted install that proves that God hates me for trying...
