Would someone plz explain to me the differance between axleback and Catback ........ I am thinking that cat back cuts out OEM muffler and Axleback uses OEM muffler , thanx

A cat-back is just that, from the catalytic converter all the way to the muffler. On an axle-back, the piping starts from the axle back to the muffler. They both use aftermarket mufflers, just the piping runs further down on a cat-back.

The Tanabe Medalion Exhaust has a deep tone(not sure if its the deepest)

It produces 5hp and 6torque for an axle back which is decent.

So a catback should give you better flow utilizing the Cats for the backpressure the engine needs ?

I think both are reputable companies, but I don't think Tanabe's is out yet, or is it? If you're going to wait for the Tanabe, I'd personally just wait for the GReddy instead.

Correct. Some people remove the cats, but that back-pressure is needed for lower end torque.

The Greddy one should be coming soon, its been 2 months already since prototyping. So hopefully within 1-2 months it should be ready.

GReddy, along with HKS and a few other companies have been big players in the import scene for a very long time. It's not by accident either, it's because they put out very good products. I would personally go with HKS first if they ever made an exhaust for our cars, but that's not going to happen. GReddy is on the same level though so it will be of very high quality.
