youre the only person that i know of that has a corbeau forza in a hatch, or any 240 for that matter, so i have some questions for you, as mine should arrive in the next couple days:

- did you get the corbeau bracket/slider?- If you did, did it mount into the stock holes?- Im about 5'11 and im wondering how bad its going to suck to sit in, with a helmet, with the sunroof taken out?

thats about all for now, i appreciate any insight you can give.

your worried about being 5'11"? im 6'5" and with the stock seat my hair rubs the ceiling a little, dont imagine a forza would make you sit any higher. but i could be wrong

well the rumor is that the forzas bracket forces you to sit higher.

ok im 5'9" and with the helmet on im damn close to the ceiling. i have the corbeau bracket too. you do have the option of taking out the seat cushion (just held in by velcro) to make a little space. so if you take that out it might work. youd almost have to really sit in a hatch with the seat to really find out, but id say itd be too close to call.

I recently sold my Forza. I am 5' 10.5" and it i managed sitting higher but its annoying and feels less sporty so i sold it because it was also difficult to get in and out of.

Haha, the car was built for shorties like me! (at least during the time, since the younger Japanese generation is getting taller now)

I feel sorry for you tall guys...

did the bracket mount into the existing places? or did you have to drill/tap new holes?

One stupid policy however that i encountered , though it didnt really pose a problem was that many distributors will not sell a bracket unless you buy a seat along with it. I got mine form upgrademotoring.com and that was their policy.

not for autocrossing at least, i mean, there are convertibles racing with no roll bars. no one has ever said anything to me about it.

i've never gotten lip in autocross without having a rollbar.

if i were to take it to a real track, i'm sure they would say something about it.

ok i got the seat and installed it today, here is my verdict:

when i first put it in it sat too high, head almost touching sunroof high, but then i took out the velcro seat cushion and what a difference! it sits close to stock height, maybe a little higher, but its fine with me. and it holds very well, you can definately focus more on driving over stock. and its pretty comfortable other than this wierd bar on the back that you can feel.

the front right floor hole on my bracket seems a little off but i can drill that a tad, no big deal.

Nice but I couldn't sit in that. I got one for free with a parts car but sold it. I just bought a Sparco Pro2000 and a Bride FG seat rail to go with it.
