Anyone herd of them or have them? Hella cheap on ebay. How are they compared to d.a.d. seats?

(I wouldn't buy from this guy)

Do they look "painted" to anyone else? Look at the grey on either side of them...

yeah looks like someone photoshop'ed them, probibly just because the seats pictured are a different color then what your buying. For $130 I think it's worth a shot, worst case you can sell them locally to someone for more.

Good thinkin...worst comes to worst I know a few people off hand that would scoop these if I wanted to sell em.

You get what you pay for. Another rebadging of crappy mass produced garbage. If you're going to go cheap atleast get the Arospeed rebadged Recaros.

I'll throw in my 2 cents here... I ordered these ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...Loser) for $100 plus $120 shipping. It took them about 5 months to get them to me... they never responded to emails in that time, it took an email to eBay to get their phone # for me to be able to call and bit<h them out to get the damn things!

but the good news... they are very well built and actually pretty comfortable seats for $220 shipped. I mean, you really can't beat that price. The hard pleather bolsters seem to prevent seat wear pretty well, the black fabric is soft, and I really do like them alot:) if it only didn't take 5 months to get here, they'd be a damn good deal!

that's good to hear, well except that shipping problem.

I was thinking of getting some for to replace my broken *** seats even though they'll look goof in a T Bird, but it's better than riding mandatory thug because of a broken seatback:)

Not to hijack, but where in a car is the "thug" position?

yeah there are other people that sell them besides the guy on ebay. Search for Axe racing seats in google you will find them. The ebay guy seems like a good seller but he has way too many items listed to handle himself.

damn near a full recline, it really sucks to sit that far back. I say thug because it's how all the "hardcore" suburban thugs drive around here...

I think I started a thread asking about these seats a few months ago. I'm glad to hear a testimonial of them.
