dude i just accidently stripped two bolts on my valve cover while changing the valve cover gasket. IM SCREWED!! WHAT DO I DO?!? HELP PLEASE!!!

all you need to do is drill a hole into the bolt. once you have the drill bit snug into the bolt gently begin to try and reverse the bolt out of the head. make sure the bit is meant for metal . be sure to lubricate the bolt so it will free itself easier

Might also want to compress the valve cover down on to the gasket to take some tension off the bolt.

I wouldn't worry too much. I think all but like 2 of my valve cover bolts are pretty well stripped out. Doesn't even leak any oil.

hahah i sure hope youre right. the thing is, i just changed the valve cover gasket so its still pretty hard and thick, so im afraid it might leave an opening at that part of the valve cover.
