I Got pads to replace my front ones now my cuz saying i have to take it to mechanic because i have abs. the sensor will go off and only they know how to do it.. is this true???

i wanted to do it myself. im a do it yourselfer lol.. any insight??

You cousin doesn't have a clue...I've never owned a car that didnt have ABS... I've never paid someone to do my brakes.

If you are not sure of the proper procedure you may want to find someone who knows what they are doing to show you. Installing brakes incorrectly can cause serious damage and loss of control. In attempting to save a few bucks don't bite off more than you can chew.
