This is what I'm saying. I'm running 500whp. Like I said before, it was me who wanted to 'upgrade' to electric fans originally because I just had the urge to, not because I needed to. My friend instructed me not to do it in the first place. That's me to the right >>>

That's cool ... I sent you an email. You can always call Garry at Speed Injected to vouche for the validity of the dyno runs. http://www.speedinjected.com

I haven't had time to mess with it. Plus, I'm tearing apart the center dash to redo some wiring, gages and radio stuff. I'll get to it hopefully this weekend or during the upcoming week. Kinda looks like my dash threw up ...

all i am running on my 91 240 is the factory e-fan that was to the a/c. just undid it and run a fan controller for it, and am using it for cooling duties and having no issues at all, and i am located on the gulf coast in alabama and have to deal with high 90 degree weather in the summers. i did away with the a/c after it start acting up bad

Word... but I just have it wired to a powersource that's always on when the ignition is.

It actually OVER cools the engine. It runs 130-150. Only got hot once when I had a bad water pump leaking like a siv and ran out of coolant. Then it got to 200+ Steam powered radiator. lol. It seriously was not good for the engine. especially with it running 25:1. So lean it's off the charts... suprised it still runs after that. KA's are tanks

GD water pump...

But that factory a/c fan is more than enough to cool my engine. Never let me down.

I want the stock SR fan/shroud, But it's probably more expensive than the flashy PermaCool POS i got and i don't know where to get one. I guess i'll burn that bridge when i get there.

the difference is that when clutch fans go out, they typically lock up providing too much cooling and a lot of noise...but no overheating.

Yeppers. It only needed the 30A fuse. Kicked on like a charm! I've been balancing my time between the 240 and the Nova, so I just got to it last night.

If you run flexlite your dumb, as altima fans are cheaper(I paid 50 bucks from a junkyard) and they flow more air than any aftermarket e fan pretty much.

*smacks forehead* ... Gee thanks? ... As I stated, I got the Flex-a-lite more for the beauty as I'm about things looking good as well as function. When I called my local supplier, this particular model of Flex-a-lite fan was superceded due to defective parts that were covered under a 1 year warranty. The issue I had with them is not that they didn't work ... they worked quite well when I first bought them 5 years ago. Since then, the car sat and was hardly driven, thus the fans expired their warranty period. So instead of going back to another totally electric dependent system, I went back to stock clutch/electric combo due to proven performance on a couple of friends cars and for the cost. Flex-a-lite is a good company and makes great products that are proven. My situation just fell out of their coverage period, or I would have just had them warrantied for replacement.

Altima fans are oem and will more than likely outlast a flexalite.

And the clutch/elec fan combo is OEM for the 240 ... so no worries.
