Not my style, especially the part about spending hours on getting the sound that I want. My Alpine does me just fine.

Yeah, right now I can't justify buying such a hu, my current set up wouldnt do it any justice. Besides, I love my eclipse double din.

I'm sure there are some audiophiles out there that would love to take advantage of all the features this thing has to offer. Thats why stated that this unit isn't for everyone.

Um... You both are effing insane.

The thing has a god damn built in RTA! Want to figure out exactly what the resonant frequency of your cabin is? No problem. Want to make sure that the volume is the same throughout the cabin? No problem.

Want a latte? You've got a effing problem

Seriously. At $500 that thing is a steal! You get less then that in a $500 home receiver!

Seriously though. That is an awesome receiver. If you're not willing to spend time getting youy system to sound good. WEll... YOu should just poke out your ear drums because no one wants to hear that $hit you're playing.

If I only had the money to upgrade my speakers, deaden the car, buy a sub, and an amp...Otherwise its like modding the hell out of your engine, but still use the stock exhaust. The potential for performance is there, but it would never be realized.

THe thing is, with that HU, you don't need alot of that stuff you mentioned.

Car ex: If your injectors can handle up to 400hp, and you just changed the ECU and brought the HP up to 350hp, would you change the injectors?

Make sense? The HU gets you 60% of the way there.

THere's a ton that you can do with it
