Found an old folding camera hidden away in my house. Evidently it's from around 45-49 as it says "Made in Occupied Japan" on the case. Looking around the web these things take some cool pics. I'm gonna hunt down some 120 film for it and start using it.

Anyone know where to get 120 film in town? Camera Co-Op or Holland ?

Pics taken on my new Nikon

Actually they are really cheap evidently, but I wanna use it ... not sell it.

They take really dramatic looking B&W photos.

Very cool, Alan. I love old cameras.

I have an old German "stereo camera" (search Google) around here somewhere. My next door neighbor when i was a kid in HS was one of the inventors of the technology, believe it or not.

Basically, it takes 2 pictures at a time, on slide film, and the 2 lenses are 2.5" apart (just like your eyes). When projected on a wall in a special slide projector, it creates a PERFECT 3-D image.

Some Disneyland events use the same technology on a larger scale...

Also have an old Leica in the attic. Great B&W large-format pics.

I have a 50 year old mechanical Remington adding machine that still works. If anyone knows how the hell you use these things, please let me know.

I wonder if it's the same Remington that makes some bitchin' rifles and shotguns...

Ah, Greg, we need to talk. A Leica does not belong in an attic in Phoenix.! It is worth way too much.

Large format? Are you sure it is a Leica, or maybe a medium format twin-lens Rolleiflex?

Anyway, get it out of the attic!

Occupied Japan cameras should have some value indeed. Who made it?
