You'll remember that the DeltaWing was heavily damaged in a collision and subsequent rollover at Road Atlanta...

Less than 24 hours later, it was ready to compete in Petit Le Mans event, where it placed 5th in the final race of the 2012 American Le Mans Series.

As upset as I am with Nissan right now, that was pretty awesome. I love that deltawing project.

It's using a modified Juke engine ... did they really need to tell people it was modified?

Glad to see some effort being put into MotorSports.

It was running as non-classified, so any finish is negated unfortunately. It's neat that it finished 5th overall, but without adhering to a class, any position it retained at the end of the race is fairly meaningless. Now, that said, they were probably doing this to gather data, which I'm sure they got from 388 laps.
