Guess what fellas? I just got myself a 240sx zenki! Its SOO awesome! Clean exterior, molded sideskirts, and immaculate paint! With only having 66k miles on the car, not havin a radio didn't matter! Brought this baby home, and drove it for a bit, had a wet dream, etc. Woke up and looked at my car, and read the odometer, and guess what?

My 66206 miles changed! it now read 65207 miles. "Maybe i was driving in reverse for a long time..." i thought, but then i realized it ddn't work that way...

What should i do sirs and misses? Sue? Report? Sell?To be honest, i don't wanna sell a faulty car to anyone else, reasons being karma. What goes around comes around.

Anyone got a carfax subscription? That'll help me... INPUT PLEASE!!!

Damn that's erie. Alicia Keys "Karma" was playing in the background right when I read that part of your post...anyway I'd check the carfax, and if it doesn't check out right, contact the previous owner and get your money back if thats what you want out of this. If the previous owner doesn't cooperate then contact your states DMV (or BMV) and ask them what steps you should take.

What?! I'd love to have my odometer say that much miles. Ahh...that's like 4 years ago. She's got 162K now.

But definitely do a Carfax on that. You're on the right track. Did you buy from a private seller or a dealership?

It was a private dealer but i think he used Milton Auto Body as his dealership. He was located in Sun Valley. I asked about everything that was wrong with the car, and he listed a few things. Trunk doesn't open with the latch (must use key), no radio, and he said it was actually mileage. I gotta call him up later today and mingle. I was SOO happy when i got it. I was listening to happy music like Britney spears... then i was overwhelmed with disbelief. Currently listening to MyChemicalRomance - i'm not okay (i promise).

This has been a damper on the fun bus... I'll post pics in a bit.

I'm poor after that car, and can't even spare money for a Carfax account. There are 15 notices for that car, but i can't read em.

3500 sounds like an incredible deal in so cal, 240's go for twice that, ON AVERAGE.

But if it has some milage issues, that could be a problem.

Mostly highway miles. Drive from Northern Mississippi to Northwest Florida (6 hours) alot. And this past year and a half I've been driving alot from Northern Mississippi to East Tennessee (6 hours). I hate doing it to my car, but when the KA goes here comes the SR. I have another one also but the engine died 'bout 3 months ago. I'll drive that alot more when she's up and runnin'.

****less... that funkass Milton character said it wasn't a Salvaged title, but guess what?

ITS NOT!!!

IT IS a JUNK TITLE!

(technically, its both, but spare me...)

Im not sure if he operates under a license as a dealer or not, but im not happy with my buy. No one would be happy in my shoes... Sad shoes to fill..

Well, it was entitled salvaged in 12-23-1997, Junked 1-27-1998.

This is pretty freakin bad...

i dont personally know how the law would treat this, but personally i wouldnt really care what the law says, i would definatly take legal action, like reporting this at least, then go even further if he wont giv you money back and what not

sorry about that, but some people just suck at life like that

Links aren't working for me. Good news is you can take it to small claims court and you'll probably have the odds in your favor. The bad news is that it's hard to enforce a settlement without a lawyer, and for $3500 a lawyer probably isn't worth it. Sorry to hear.

Sorry to hear about the title business. Stick it to that guy. Where is Sun Valley? I see you're in Pomona, where abouts in Pomona?

It's a well known fact that most nissans simply can't handle the voice of Britney Spears and willl rebel somehow. Most vehicles crap out and idle rough it looks like yours is throwing its odometer back and claiming junk title. Sorry if I'm being rough but I jsut had a rough drive back from the bars and the words are all blury just like the lines were ont he road.

I must agree. I think the Max would just plain stop running if I ever even had a Britney CD inside the car, let alone played it. Spare your car...play some Korn!

So i called this Milton MilTron fellow. He says we bought it AS-IS, and he can't mess with it ANYMORE cuz its my car now. That dipShizz. So now its my problem. This is too much to go thru, i figure. Im just not sure if i wanna put a 240 out of commission. what do you guys think? Keep it as it is, and fix up the impurities, or go thru and hit up a lawyer?

tru. for 3500, thats not enuff for even a decent lawyer, unless i found someone to do it probono. The car isn't that messed up. I think i might just invest on a new gauge cluster (JDM mad TYTE yo *sarcasm*) and other stuff. the engine and all runs fine, but i don't drive it cuz the mileage won't be clocked. If i were to fix ithis baby up, and sell it to anyone else, with them knowing its a salvaged title, that'd be nice. I just need a few parts here and there, and it'll be nice n clean. Anyone else with an opinion?Thanx NismoFly
