So I've had my AWD unplugged at the diff since about July or so. I have the 'clicking when turning sharply at low speeds' issue, where the electrical coupler needs to be replaced. I haven't gotten around to changing it yet (will probably do the whole diff as it is cheaper, about $400), but decided to plug the AWD back in today as we've have a tonne of snow here. Wow does it ever make a difference! Its like the car is on a rail now!
Haven't heard any clicking yet either, but expect that will come back when the pavement is dry...
