I have noticed while doing U-turns in AWD that my Murano seems to struggle in the turn, turn off AWD & make a U-turn and all is ok, can some of you help me out & try it in your vehicle ?

Thanks

That is representative of an AWD system in lock mode, such as the design used in the Murano. There are some more sophisticated systems that do not produce this effect, but as far as I know the Murano system does not have the L-R rear torque split which would eliminate this effect.

The best way to avoid this is to keep the AWD in auto mode....or look at purchasing the new Nissan Juke due out this fall, it will have a sophisticated new AWD system with L-R rear torque split, an apparent first for Nissan products. Details here: zer...erica
