SL AWD with 12,000+ miles. I thought I heard a noise at very low speed yesterday, the first time I have noticed it. I'm not sure if it's the same sound as what others are calling the 'transmisson rattle' but I got the impression it was more in the exhaust system. It didn't seem like a fault or poor engineering, but more like a deep 70's muscle car throaty exhaust noise. Mind you, I'm not saying are Rogues are hot stuff, just saying it was like that kind of sound, BUT not loud, just perceptable at about five miles an hour as I came to a stop. It's almost like the exhaust valves set up some resonance in the exhaust pipes or something. It didn't alarm me, but I did wonder when I heard it if that was the same sound people are hearing. If not, there may be some definite loose part in the tranny that some people have?

We got the Rogue in January and the noise was noticed in March, April when the snow disappeared. I'd say about 4000km

CVT rattle started at just under 3000 miles. SL AWD is now 6 months old, less than 5000 miles and rattle is quite loud now.
