So I was thinking alot lately about putting the rb25 or rb26 motor in my 240 in the future and alot of the rb26 motors i've seen for sale had the awd transmission on them. Is it possible to make a 240 awd? or is it way more trouble than its worth?

Wow that build is amazing, i don't think i'd be able to afford the highpo parts but i think i could get all the suspension and drivetrain for around 6 or 7 grand.

I wouldn't recommend doing it. I can guarantee you that it will nickel and dime you to death. If you want to have a bad a** car s14+rb26+rb25 trans=nothing but win. Sure it wont have awd but it will still be tons of fun.

However, if you really want to do it, it would be a great car.....just not worth it in my opinion.

When I read that Full Race thread, he said he wanted to make sort of a "kit" to make it a weld-in affair. You should get in touch with him if you're really serious. And if he's serious about making the kit, he may be really interested in helping you out so that he can test it in some other cars.

Either way, it's an amazing idea. I was in awe while reading the full race build. I want to go to Phoenix and check it out sometime since I'm close. If you've got the cash DO IT!

Edit: I also noticed you have an S13, which may make it even more awesome. You'd be the first s13 (i think) with the AWD setup. The first R13. DOPE!

That site has a kit. It's kind of pricey but it's the easiest way to convert a S14 into a proper awd 240sx that actually works like it should.
