i was reading the announcement in the front page from the new advertiser night7racing. I saw the quote "and AWD swap into the 240SX." Is it possible? Has it been done before?

i bet its quite possible, but i wouldn't know how to go about it. My GUESS would be an R32 drivetrain, but would take tons of modification =\

Unstable hybrids had something about it on their site. Not sure if they ever did it.

yeah. you'd need a GTR drive train to make it work, then you'd have to do tons of modification to get it to work. one of my mechanic friends and i were talking about how awesome that would be to do it

I have seen a Pic of a S14 with a GTR RB26dett, with AWD installed also, but it was in japan.

Yeah i thought it would be fun with sentra also, or even altima.

or swaping an SR from a GTiR into a Suzuki Sidekick, and adapte its AWD transmission. Or silvia SR20 with hard body 4wd transmission with an adapted bell housing

Apparently my friend's Mazda Protege could be AWD with some heavy modifications :)

Yeah my girlfriend has a 93 Protege, i was amazed to see all of the stuff you could do with it. like pulling the 323GTR engine and drive train, witch made 220hp stock on a 1.8L engine and was built for group B rally racing in the late 80s. good stuff

I would think it's for the KA24DE. I thought about it. Get a 4WD transmission, transfer case out of the hard body. Get some costom driveshafts. Change the gear ratios with the ones in the 240 transmission. Do the wiring, mount it all up. Then turbo the KA and you got one sick 240. The bell housing should just mount right up right? I never really put to much thought in it cause of the fabrication/modifcation that would have to be done.
