Hey fellow Sr20 lovers have you ever been screwed over on an engine part or engine so bad your ashame to even mention it??? If so let it out now I want to inform you of a shop that screwed me over to prevent others from making the same mistake hope you guys post to.Before I got my swap done I did alot of searching to find the most inexpensive Sr20det motor set. I found it, and no it wasn't on ebay I wouldn't spend more than 50.00 on ebay, anyways I found a Sr20det eninge set with transmission and ecu for 1400. To good to be tru huh?? Thinking I was getting a great deal I bought it at once, oh by the way it was at Libero USA located in Gardena California. I signed the paper with only a 10 day warranty, stupid I know, but I figured my engine would be in my car before my warranty ran out, unfotunately for me the shop that was gonna do my swap found that it could have a cracked head due to the massive amout of oil found in the intake manifold. I had to get a different engine from Libero but since I took out the engine the shop had to reschedule me to a later date, a date after my warranty was over. I took the engine back to Libero and they wouldn't extend my warranty they would only give me a different engine they wouldn't even refund me what I paid because I didn't have hard evidence like papers and stuff that showed the head was cracked. Basiccally my choices were have them take back and loose 300.00 b/c of a restocking fee or my chances with the engine by keeping it. I didn't want to take the risk in getting a different engine and that one being bad as well so I paid the restocking fee. These guys really screwed me over but it goes to show you, you really do get what you pay for. Sorry thispost was so long but I had to let you guys know not to trust Libero. The shop that was doing my swap helped me out they got me an entire front clip for 1600 which is very good with a 90 day warranty. I've now heard of people that haven't even been able to get any money back from them b/c their 5 day warranty runs out. So they get stuck with a f!@$% up engine.Hope this helps someone and hope you post something helpful.
