Ok when I ship my harness off to get wired, should I go ahead and drop the engine in or what? Or is it less of a pain to plug in for instance the lower harness while the motor is out? Thanks

Doesn't matter, either way will be fine. The lower harness is separate from the main harness, you might as well just put that on now and drop the motor than put the main harness when it comes in.
