I just wanted to replace my radiator hoses that could very well have been the original 2006 hoses, and of course this happens. Broke like it was made of egg shells.



Luckily they had one in town. Also, if anyone asks you why you would spend more money on OEM stuff, show them this below pic. The arrow and dot were there to show you where to clock the hose which had a bend in it. Without it, I would have had to do trial and error fitting.

Sorry that happened! But the silver lining is how much you saved by NOT having the dealer do it. I agree about OEM parts. Lucky for us, there are websites like Infinitipartsonline and others that sell OEM at a good discount. That allows us to keep our cars 100% Infiniti and as you showed, makes it a bit easier to be sure we repair things properly.
