N0, but most of the math is "speed math" where you have lots of 2x7=___ questions. I think a calculator would slow you down. Of course it's been years since I took the thing, it may have changed.

The best advice I can give you is don't spend too much time on one problem. If you can't figure it out, skip it. And the math parts are way to easy to need a calculator (this coming from me, and I'm in math 960).I don't even remember if I got to use a calculator or not, and I took the thing twice. It's a pretty easy test though, so don't get too worried about it. The hardest part for me was sitting in those crappy chairs for hours on end.

I took it in high school two years in a row. Basically, for one of my classes, if we took the test, we passes that semester of the class.

Unfortunately for me, I did really well on the test, and now the military won't leave me alone. But I have absolutely no plans to join the armed services. Besides, I wouldn't survive...I HATE structure. But hey, if that's for you, then its perfect. You could get a full ride scholarship out of it and a military career as well.

Review all of your "shorcut" trig triangles. 3,4,5 and such. If a problem has trig in it it uses one of these triangles.

As with any timed test, don't spend too much time on any problem, skip it and come back to it.

ASVAB. sorry, that f in there was annoying me...

most of the math stuff was pretty simple...

I'm wanting to say I made like a 90 something on it for some reason...I only vaguely remember taking it though..
