Avic F series FW UPDATE!

Hey guys,

Just lookin for some opinions, observations, thoughts etc on the new FW update released by pioneer.

I have yet to install the update, but here are the things that pioneer documents as an issue, and says the update addresses.

anyone get this updated and can comment on these fixes they HOPEFULLY successfully implemented?

I am assuming you have updated your unit. Did it make a big difference or were you really disapointed?

I can get the F90bt for about $700 from an authorized dealer. (Best buy hook-up) I could get the D3 for a little less than $500. The F-series has way more features, but has bugs. The D3 Navi is DVD based which would be real anoying and updates will be unlikely in the future. Being a F series owner which would you get?
