How in the hell did you pull that off? And how can I get in on it?

That doesnt seem like that great of a deal to me. no i/c would be bad unless your willing to go right ahead and by that fmic, so add another 600 or so to that price, then add a downpipe.. I got a frontclip EVERYTHING icluded, no shipping charge for 150 more than that. Again venus auto is the shiznit.

Well, I'm planning on doing the swap, a FMIC, all 3" tubing, 3" exhaust, fuel pump, koyo radiator, injectors, and some other things. So it doesn't seem that bad to me...

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I dropped off on a MOnday afternoon and picked it up on Wednesday night. 2 days is pretty awesome.

Is yours silver moss also? From the factory or aftermarket paint? 5 spd?

That price was for the motor shipped from Miami, Fl to Tampa FL. I donno how much it would be to ship one to LA

As far as an I/C goes.. A LOT of people use the Mitsubishi Starion FMIC's which you can get for like $50 at a salvage yard and piping isn't that much to have made or make yourself if you can weld.HeavyThrottle.com sells a 3" downpipe for $130 which i have one of them and have had it for over a year.. it flows great.Fuel pump upgrade was $115 shipped to my door from another site.If any of you want to ask me anything.. feel free to get me on AIM at RLM240sx or email be [email protected]

The irony is my engine is just as complete/more complete than the ones you've mentioned, and mine is 2200 + 100-300 dollars shipping pretty much anywhere in the country. : )

Yep, I have a 97 se Silver Moss 5 speed with moonroof. No other options and it is the original color. I have NEVER seen another one in person. Must be pretty rare. I just bought it a few weeks ago over in Carson and they advertised it as the more common dark green color. I was suprised to find a silver 240 with a slight green tint. :)

So do you you want to share where you got this swap done at? That is a very fast turnaround rate and cheap too. :help

On a clip and labor? There's no way to get that price anymore unless you can do it yourself or unless you are related to the shop owner. S14 clips are expensive. They go for $3200-$3400 and labor is anywhere from $1500-$1800. Air conditioning is an additional $200-$300

S14SRPilot, do you not grasp that you're NEEDLESSLY replying to a thread over a YEAR OLD! Alot has changed since then- especially with "dauntless".

I dont see anythign wrong with reviving an old threa dif its relevant.

I havent read thru it but from your remark I gather that Dauntless business was being mentioend in here as a source.

Dauntless' Afterdark tuning ,has sadly (and badly) failed since then.
