Going to try and establish oil pressure today, maybe even start the *****, but this AVCR has me hung up.

Im settin it up for my car, and there is a throttle sensor type setting, here are my options x 3.

when throttle is CLOSED 0v-1vwhen throttle is OPEN 3v-5v

when throttle is CLOSED 3v-5vwhen throttle is OPEN 0v-1-v

**there is no throttle signal

Also, im going to look in the FSM, but is setting the TPS a two man job?

Greg

also, when I first put power to my ECU the other night and began to setup the AVCR.....It got late I was tired and decided to call it a night. I was in the middle of setup and turned the key off, but the AVCR remained powered up. I had to pull the battery ground to kill it and Im curious If I wired it wrong. I double and triple checked, but It IS wired correctly.

you prolly went to constant power instead of ingnition power, or something is wired wrong with your swap to begin with?

thats the one I went with after having a look at the FSM.

not a swap, rhds s13 with a factory ca18det.

just got done initializing AVCR, cranked in hopes of seeing oil pressure, and sadly, I didnt get any.

WTF do I do now, pump oil through the oil pressure sending unit?

aright she took, it was building pressure while I was cranking initially, just not as fast as I would have imagined.

After 2 years apart, and a details, details, details rebuild, she fired for the first time today, on the first try.

Im so happy I could shyet

My heat wrapped exhaust manifold was smoking like a motherforker though, is that normal?

turbo timer is what caused my AVCR to stay fired up.
