Available options in M35X?

When I was shopping for a car a while back, a dealer in his convincing talk went online and put in the VIN number of the car he was selling and a car in the other dealership to do a side by side comparison of the options. I ended on not buying both cars and instead went for an Infiniti M35X.

My question is, does anyone know if there exists any website where we can put in the VIN of a car and download all the available options or do I have to go to a dealer to get it?

Will the dealer give it to me easily or is it at their discreation?

I'm not sure if I understand your post... If you're trying to find out what options a particular car has by looking at the VIN it can't be done. The VIN does not include that information. Only the body style, engine, transmission, paint color and model year. If you want to find out what options were available on a car in a particular model year I'm sure the info is out on the internet somewhere or get a hold of promo brochure for that model year.

You can call infiniti/nissan of north america with your VIN and they can tell you what options your car has.
