Auxillary Fan (necessary?)

Does anyone know if the auxillary fan off of the AC is necessary or not. mine is shot and it is disconected as of now, but to get a new one is gonna cost me 300+. With it disconnected my ac is still fully functional and i haven't noticed the engine overheating at all. Is this auxillary fan needed? if soo does anybody have one for sale?

Yes it is necessary. I've got a few lying around. If I can still find one, how's 10+ shipping sound? Otherwise I'd check the buy/sell board as there are always plenty of folks parting a 40 out.

Can you let me know also? mY fan doesnt switch on and im guess its the motor is blown on my fan. And i live in GA so with out it, my AC doesnt blow out Cold air except at nigth when its pointless to have cold air. My zip code is 31909 let me know if you have any more fans! Thanks
