In my 91 Q I never listen to the radio. I usually play my mp3 player through a cassette adapter. I really want some better quality sound and I was wondering if there were any ways to hook my mp3 player directly to my stereo, without using a cassette adapter of FM transmitter.

From what I see, there is no auxiliary input anywhere on the factory Bose radio. (everything is stock except the previous owners hooked up an Alpine CD changer, just in case that makes a difference.) -Thanks

I make one that plugs into an 8 pin DIN plug on the back of the '94-'96 Q45. If you can find someone selling one from a newer model you could use that adapter. IIRC (If I remember correctly) the newer models will plug right in to your harness. Anyone else remember for sure?

So you've looked at the back of your radio and there isn't any extra plugs? Any chance you could take a photo of the back of the radio and post it?
