Auxiliary Emissions Code

I have a 98 240SX SE with the GReddy Turbo kit and recently I have been throwing a code for auxiliary emissions, then it says see dealer for info (OBDII Scanner). What exactly is auxiliary emissions? Please Help!!!

what is the number? "P1xxx" fill in the x's This is where generic scan tools just dont cut it, their definitions are weak for manufacturer specific codes.

The code is P1447 which is EVAP Purg Flow/Mon, according to that list. So what exactly is that???

Is there any way to remove the EVAP system without having a permanet Check engine light??? or does it have to stay

no as the ecm looks for the sensors and the range of the inputs , if it doesnt see certian readings change when expected, instant code.

That code means it does not see a evap pressure change when it open the purge solonoid vale to purge. Pull the hose off of the purge valve coming from the canister and see if there is charcoal in it. If there is you canister has come apart and the charcoal has been sucked into the lines.
